In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
Trying to keep up
loosing every time.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
Been happy for someone
feeling jealousy at the same time.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
Wishing for something to come
rejecting the idea of becoming.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
screaming out loud
shutting in silence inside.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
dreaming with some stories
living the opposite ones.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
desiring a touch, wishing a contact
refusing the idea, denying what is bad.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
wanting to do many things
leaving them for tomorrow.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
feeling half independent
falling into an abysmal emptiness.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
waiting to talk
keeping it from the ones I love.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
fighting my worst enemy
loosing every time the battle.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
looking forward
walking backwards.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
Hoping the light comes quick
but I delay it´s entrance, instead.

In darkness I stand
searching some kind of light
Struggling hard
falling without a chance.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
Standing in front the right way
My shadow becomes the mirror
and only gloominess is ahead.

In darkness I stand
searching for some kind of light
Fighting every day for the track
Missing out because of it.
Standing in darkness
Standing in reality
Standing in front my enemy...
My worst and fearful enemy it´s myself...

An old poem about the worst enemy someone could ever have... Ourselves. No matter how bad outside is, the fighting within is more difficult every day...
